What does “OUT” look like?
Jesus was always looking with compassion on the crowds and cities He visited. Luke 6, we see this progression of Up/In/OUT. Jesus spends all night praying with God, then spends time with others, especially His IN group of followers. Then He always was looking OUT!
“He (Jesus) went down with them and stood on a level place. A large crowd of His disciples (followers) were there and a great number of people from all over Judea, Jerusalem, and from the coast of Tyre and Sidon, who had come to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by spirit were cured, and the people all tried to touch Him, because power was coming from Him and healing them all.” Luke 6:17-19
Jesus never forgot why His Father sent Him. He (Jesus) came to seek and save those that were lost.
Jesus never isolated Himself with other believers, and if we’re growing in His likeness, we can’t either. It is easy to get comfortable in a safe life of being around like minded believers.
“Live Openhanded with our time, talent and treasure”
“Putting Others Above Our Self”
Are just a few of the core beliefs we teach and hold as our “OUT”!
We serve at least once a month, in what we call “Operation Serve” or “Serve Opps.” We believe in making impact in our community by going “OUT”!
A few of our partners include: local student ministries, Shine Prom with Tim Tebow Foundation and First Windermere, Lift Disability Network (Breakaway Camp, Give Back- Operation Christmas Child), Miracle League, Orlando, Burundi Christian Ministry (BCM), Feeding Children Everywhere, East Winter Garden Renovation, Do Good Farms, Hope Now Orlando, and individuals that need help with their homes (painting, building wheel chair ramps, or moving to a new place)!
We also open our doors @ Fort B for Open Ride and Bible Study. Almost every week of the school year, we open on Monday nights for a time of Bible Study and Riding. Soon we will offer after school mentoring for study and ride times.
